I ❤️ My City: Designing a Sustainable Guide for Your Community

Ever feel frustrated about where to buy local, sustainably sourced food in your neighborhood? Which local businesses or organizations to support the climate issues you care about? Or maybe you’re trying to make more daily sustainable decisions, but not sure where to start?
In this workshop, we will cover the building blocks to create a guide to help you and your community become more resilient by making better, more sustainable decisions in your own neighborhoods.
We'll hear from Jamie Hwang of She Grows Cities as she walks us through her Urban Farmers' Almanac, an accessible guide to learn about gardening, transportation, and sustainable lifestyle choices in her hometown Los Angeles.
Participants will leave the session with a framework to build their own unique resiliency guide for their cities/communities.
Presented by the Climate Designers: LA Chapter.
